Inspired by famed perfumer, Frederic Malle and the distinctive in-house creations of Jean Claude Ellena, Donagh set about crafting a blend of essential oils to reflect one fragrance he was particularly enamoured with. It was his search for a specialty fragrance house that brought him to discover Hay Absolute - a deep earthy aroma he then rounded with pink pepper, lifted with bitter orange and cardamon and balanced with cedarwood and geranium.
